Last day, German government resources ordered Facebook owners to stop their “Like” button from their websites and other related websites using social media plug-in. A big social network Facebook facing a problem because of Thilo Weichert, data protection commissioner in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. He said to Stop Facebook “Like” button from different websites and also from their own social network because the button is bad for user’s privacy. Furthermore, he suggest developer of Facebook to make an appropriate solution for it for example they can use another way to protect the privacy of user.
Facebook spokesman Andrew Noyes says against the statement of German government officials"We firmly reject any assertion that Facebook is not compliant with EU data-protection standards.”
