Cultural Representation of Pakistan

Dressing plays very important role to represent cultures of different countries. Different societies settled their dresses according to their religions and climate changes of the area. Asians are considered as one of the most cultural people in the world. Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, China, Afghanistan & Bhutan are the most favorite countries of the world for cultural lovers.




Being a South Asian, I proudly wear my cultural dresses and represent it though the web in the world. I know it is very important to tell the people how we live and what we wear. Some fond of the culture normally amazed to see the clothing, footwear, fashion accessories and jewelry of Pakistan.



Pakistan is beautifully decorated with the culture through dresses and wearing. On festivals of eid-ul-fitr and eid-ul-adha, people normally represent their culture with simple Shalwar Kameez both for men and women.



Shalwar Kameez is the main cultural dress of Pakistan. Here, I joined some pictures representing our culture during holy festivals of Muslims like Eid-ul-Adha, Ramadan, Jumma Mubarik & Eid-ul-Fitr. Ladies normally wear colorful Shalwar Kameez on these festive.



Embroidered Shalwar Kameez attracts both men and women. Different designers especially design clothing for men and women, these clothing are printed, embossed & embroidered every year for the perfect satisfaction of consumers. Really, Shalwar Kameez makes a look to Brides and Grooms of Pakistan. Also Choorridaar Pajama used for cultural dress under Kameez.



Furthermore, Culture of Pakistan can be represented by cultural footwear of men and women. In northern areas of Pakistan people have main occupation of producing shoes for men and women. Sandal, Khussa, Peshawri Chappal attracts the people of Pakistan. High heel sandals, Kolapuri Chappal and Khussa use mainly by women of Pakistan.



Some Famous Cultural Products of Different Provinces of Pakistan



Khyber Pakhtunkhua formerly North West Frontier Province of Pakistan is famous for its Peshawari Chappal. Men like these footwear most because of its softness.



Sindhi People wear Ajrak and can be identified by their beautiful, colorful and soft touch Ajrak. Ajrak is the famous shawl for Sindhi peoples.



Baluchistan is famous for its different styles of Topi or Traditional Cap. These Topis are embroidered, colored and beautifully designed by hand.



Punjabi people love to wear colorful Shalwar Kameez. People of Punjab have great proud because Punjab is the Textile hub of Asia.



After all, if you travelled Pakistan so far so your trip would be considered incomplete if you have no information about cultural dresses and traditions of Pakistan. Pakistani people can be represented by their clothing, footwear and lifestyle.
